Porn shown in 4th grade classroom (Ars Technica)

Schools and porn ... together again.

"A teacher was showing an educational video about tessellations to her fourth grade class when the video ended, the credits rolled, and then pornography came up on the screen. "
Dirty, dirty tessellations.

But here's the part that gets me:

"The teacher of the 20-student class 'sprinted' across the room to turn it off ..."
And that's why you always use a remote.

In-Car Internet arrives (Webware)

If you thought cell phones were road distractions, just wait till you can access YouTube in the car. That day is quickly approaching:

"Avis has begun to roll out its in-car Wi-Fi service, which allows drivers to turn their rental cars into mobile Wi-Fi hotspots."
The price is steep -- an extra $10.95 per day -- but if you've just gotta have your Web fix, this definitely satisfies the urge.
